How To Transfer From Another Provider

How To Transfer From Another Provider

Step 1: Place Your Order With Ezi

Choose your Ezi plan and complete your order online. You'll receive an order confirmation email shortly after checkout, along with updates as your service progresses.
If you're already connected to the nbn®, your new Ezi service will use the same infrastructure — no need for new cabling or installation.

Important: To transfer your service smoothly, we'll need your AVC ID (Access Virtual Circuit ID). This is a unique identifier linked to your nbn® line. You can request it from your current provider — once you provide it to us, we'll take care of the rest.
If you can't provide us with your AVC ID, that's completely fine, but you will be responsible for the cancellation of your current service.

Step 2: Keep Your Current Service Active (for now)

Leave your existing internet connection active until your Ezi Broadband service is confirmed as connected. This ensures no downtime during the transfer.
Once your Ezi Broadband service is up and running, your old provider will automatically disconnect your previous service (in most cases).

Step 3: We Activate Your Ezi Connection

Once we receive your AVC ID and process your order, we'll work with nbn® Co to activate your Ezi service. Activation typically happens within 1–5 business days, depending on your connection type and current provider. You'll receive an email or SMS when your service is active and ready to go. Your nbn® device or modem may briefly disconnect or flash during the transfer, this is normal.

Step 4: Cancel With Your Old Provider

After your Ezi service is live and tested, contact your old provider to cancel your plan (unless you provided your AVC ID, in which case the transfer is automatic).
