zi Broadband supplies different modem models depending on the nbn® technology available at your address. Using the correct modem ensures your service activates smoothly and performs at full speed.

Modem Compatibility By nbn® Technology


In Short

  • VX230v → Works with all nbn® technologies, including FTTN and FTTB.
  • HX510 → Designed for nbn® box-based connections only (FTTP, HFC, FTTC, Fixed Wireless, and Satellite). It cannot be used for FTTN or FTTB, as these do not include an external nbn® connection box.
