TP-Link HB210 Pro Setup Guide
The TP-Link HB210 Pro is an EasyMesh-compatible Wi-Fi 7 router that delivers speeds up to 3.6 Gbps for your home or small office. Follow the steps below to set it up with your Ezi Broadband service.
What's In The Box
When you open your HB210 Pro package, you should find:
Tip: If anything is missing or damaged, contact our support team before installation.
Step 1: Unpack and Power On
Place the router in a central, elevated location for best Wi-Fi coverage.
Plug the power adapter into the HB210 Pro and then into a working power outlet.
The router will power on automatically.
Wait about 30 seconds, the LED on the front will indicate the router's status.
Step 2: Connect to Your nbn® Equipment
The HB210 Pro features one 2.5G WAN/LAN port and one 2.5G LAN port, providing flexibility for various connection types. The type of nbn® connection at your address determines where to plug in your router.
If you have FTTP, HFC, or FTTC:
If you have FTTN or FTTB:
Important: Ensure all cables are firmly connected before continuing.
Step 3: Set Up Using the TP-Link Aginet App (Recommended)
The TP-Link Aginet App makes setup simple and ensures your router gets the latest firmware.
Download the Aginet App — Available on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Log in or create a TP-Link ID — This allows you to manage your router remotely.
Tap "Create a Network" — The app will guide you through the setup process.
Follow the on-screen instructions — The app will detect your internet connection type automatically (typically Dynamic IP for most Ezi Broadband nbn® users).
Set up your local admin password — This password is used for accessing the router's settings, not your Wi-Fi or TP-Link ID.
Configure your Wi-Fi network — Create a Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password for your home network. The HB210 Pro operates on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands which you can merge for seamless roaming.
Optional: Bind your router to your TP-Link ID for remote monitoring and cloud management.
Finish setup — Once complete, your router will be ready for use.
Adding another HB210 Pro? The HB210 Pro supports EasyMesh technology, allowing you to add additional units through the app to create a mesh network for whole-home coverage.
Step 4: Alternative Setup Via Web Browser
If you prefer to use a computer instead of the app:
Connect your computer or laptop to the HB210 Pro via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The default Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password are printed on the label underneath the router.
Open a browser and go to tplinkwifi.net (you can also try 192.168.0.1 if tplinkwifi.net doesn't load).
Log in using the admin password printed on your router label (you'll be asked to change it during setup).
Follow the Quick Setup Wizard:
Select Router Mode (default) or Access Point Mode (if connecting to another router).
Choose your connection type (Dynamic IP for most Ezi Broadband nbn® users).
Enter VLAN ID only if your Ezi setup instructions specify one.
Set your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.
Click Save to apply settings. Your router will reboot and be ready to use.
Step 5: Final Checks
Once setup is complete:
Expanding Your Network
The HB210 Pro supports adding additional units to create a unified mesh network for seamless whole-home coverage. Simply add another HB210 Pro unit through the Aginet App wherever additional coverage is needed.
