Speeds: Up to 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload

Good to Know: A solid wireless plan for small households with moderate internet needs. Handles HD and 4K streaming comfortably alongside everyday browsing and video calls.

Wireless Fast

Speeds: Up to 250 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload
Best For:
  1. 3–4 person households
  2. 4K video streaming on 3 devices
  3. Online gaming
  4. Larger file downloads
Good to Know: A strong option for families or homes with multiple users online at the same time. Delivers fast download speeds that handle streaming, gaming, and work tasks without slowing down.

Wireless Superfast

Speeds: Up to 400 Mbps download / 40 Mbps upload
Best For:
  1. 4–5 person households
  2. 4K streaming on 5 devices

Good to Know: The fastest wireless plan available, ideal for households with heavy internet usage across multiple devices. The higher upload speed supports working from home, video calls, and cloud backups.

How Fixed Wireless Works

nbn® Fixed Wireless uses radio signals from a nearby nbn® tower to deliver internet to your home. An outdoor antenna (installed by nbn® during setup) receives the signal and connects to an nbn® connection box inside your home. Your modem then plugs into the connection box to provide Wi-Fi throughout your house.
Fixed Wireless is designed for homes in regional and semi-rural areas where fixed-line nbn® technologies like FTTP or HFC aren't available.

What You'll Need

  1. A location within an nbn® Fixed Wireless coverage area
  2. A compatible modem or router (see Which Modem Can I Use?)
  3. A power outlet near your nbn® connection box
  4. An active Ezi Broadband service
